Opponents know they won't get a chance if PM completed his term: Sadiq

In his address with a ceremony here, Sadiq said a few people are demanding the prime minister to step down for they consider it necessary for their political survival.
“Jamaat e Islami (JI) and the opposition say that they are on same page,” he noted. “But the former is demanding resignation, while Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah is not in its favor.”
Speaking with regard to NA-122 Lahore by-election, the NA speaker said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate Aleem Khan is hiding behind stay orders, adding that he (Khan) should wait for the decision if considers himself right.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family are under fire at home after Panama Papers leaks that prompted corruption allegations against them.
The premier announced to constitute a judicial commission to probe Panama Papers claims, but a deadlock is persists between the opposition and the government on the terms of reference (TORs) of the commission.
Amid criticism, some parties have called on the prime minister to step down, but the opposition itself could not develop a consensus on this very demand.
