KARACHI: Arshad Khan, aka the famous ‘Chai Wala’ (tea-seller), must be thanking his lucky stars somewhere in Islamabad for having the time of his life.

He poured hot tea one day in a cup…someone captured that very moment, and bingo! The ‘Chai Wala’ became a superstar.

Arshad has already bagged his first modelling contract, local and international media covered him extensively, got a superb…much-needed makeover from high-fashion Nabila’s Salon, recently walked the ramp at Bridal Couture Week 2016 oozing confidence with style and now he has done a music video.

The video called ‘Chai Wala’ by Lil Mafia Mundeer, a duo based in Lahore, featured Arshad as a lead model and has been making rounds on social and mainstream media.

A used-to-be shy Arshad looked impressively easy with the camera and self-assured that he exactly knows what to do in the video as he holds a tray with tea cups in one hand and fixes his jacket with the other.

If we ignore the lyrics of the song, throughout the video, the ‘Chai Wala’ can be seen enjoying himself with female models when he flips his hair and moves to the beat.

Pakistani’s ‘cat-eyed’ tea seller saw his life changed when his portrait spread around the Internet, and since then we have been watching him becoming a celebrity.
