LAHORE: A family court on Wednesday decided in favour of Lollywod actor Noor Bukhari allowing her to dissolve her fourth marriage.
She had been married to singer Wali Hamid Ali Khan three years ago. The couple have been living separately after they developed differences and Noor decided to file for divorce.
Family Court Judge Faisal Naseem Mir approved the divorce plea filed by her who approached the court seeking Khula (cancellation of marriage) with Wali.
Noor told the court that she didn’t want to live with her husband and requested it to approve her application for Khula. Her husband Wali, however, opposed the plea, saying he didn’t want to end the marriage and asked the court to reject the plea.
This is not the first time Noor has got divorce. She had been first married to a Dubai-based Hindu businessman in 2003 and got divorce over his refusal to convert to Islam later in 2008.
Afterwards, she married producer Farooq Mengal in 2010, but unfortunately, the marriage could not survive and ended soon.
After her divorce with Farooq, the actor had married Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Aun Chaudhry and had a child from the marriage. But this time too the relationship ended in divorce.
Noor got married to singer Wali Hamid in 2013.
