Pakistan condemns as India martyrs nine Kashmiri youth in occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Minister of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur on Sunday condemned martyrdom of nine Kashmiri youth by Indian troops in fresh act of state terrorism in Kulgam district of occupied Kashmir.

The minister drew attention of the world community towards the worst atrocities of Indian security forces on innocent Kashmiris.

He said the world should raise its voice on this barbaric treatment.

Ali Amin Gandapur said Pakistan would continue to expose the true face of India on all international forums.

Soon after the killings, the authorities suspended internet services and imposed curfew-like restrictions in the district.

Doctors at District Hospital, Kulgam, said that most of the youth were brought dead.

Meanwhile, All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq condemning the killing of the youth said in a twitter statement: “To strongly condemn & protest the mayhem unleashed in Kulgam by the ruthless Indian state in which so far 5 civilians & 3 armed youth killed besides injuries to tens of scores of injured, JRL calls for complete #Shutdown tomorrow, JRL will hold a #ProtestSitin on Tuesday at LaLchowk.”
