Pakistan has extended the operating hours of eight regional passport offices to make it easier for citizens to access passport services.
Under directives from Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the offices will operate in two shifts from 08:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
The extended hours will apply to passport offices in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad and Quetta.
Officials said the move would give citizens greater flexibility when applying for passport services and help reduce waiting times at the offices.
The measure is part of efforts to improve public access to passport facilities and provide services outside conventional working hours.
