ISLAMABAD: A scuffle erupted between passengers after a heated exchange at the Islamabad airport, and video of the incident has gone viral on the social media.
As seen in the mobile-cam footage, two passengers thrashed a man in front of the international arrival gate, with no security personnel in sight to end the fight.
Some of the female passengers, supposedly accompanying the ‘unruly’ male travelers, also indulged in brawl with each other a few steps away. The reason of the brawl could not be ascertained.
In April last year, a video surfaced on the social media showing a clash between the passengers and FIA officials over which the FIA immigration department issued a statement claiming that three female passengers had misbehaved with one of their staff member.
However, in the latest video a woman could be seen being physically assaulted by FIA’s female staffers at BBIA. After outpouring of condemnations, the FIA officer identified as Ghazala was suspended.
Three women, a mother along with two daughters named Fauzia and Fatima Umar, reached the airport to leave for Norway. Moments prior to take off, Fauzia went to restroom where she reportedly asked FIA female staffer for a toilet paper which annoyed the staffer resulting in exchange of heated arguments, and later brawl ensued.
