Shah chaired a meeting of KMC administration on Monday morning. He issued a warning that the deputy commissioner of a district will be removed if respective district municipal corporation will fail to perform its duties.
The chief minister also instructed the municipal authorities to remove makeshift shops and other encroachments from the streets of Karachi.
CM Sindh also sought the list of the machinery available with every district municipal commissioner.
He stressed on the municipal authorities to improve the drainage and cleaning systems in the metropolis.
Commissioner Karachi, in the meeting, claimed Korangi District is the cleanest zone of the city on which CM Sindh said that he will see that himself when he visits the area.
Shah also said that the sports grounds will not be allowed to turned into dumping grounds for garbage.
