RIYADH: Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Roza-e-Rasool (Peace Be Upon Him) after his arrival in Madinah on Monday evening, according to Saudi Press Agency.
He offered Isha prayers and Nawafil at the Prophet’s Mosque.Madinah Emir Prince Faisal Bin Salman and other Saudi officials welcomed the prime minister upon his arrival at Prince Muhammad International Airport.
Mr Khan is visiting Saudi Arabia on a special invitation of King Salman Bin Abdel Aziz to attend the conference titled “Davos in the Desert”.
He is accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, and Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Industry Abdul Razzak Dawood.
The conference, according to Saudi officials, will bring leading businessmen, investors, corporate giants, representatives of hi-tech industry and major media outlets at one platform.
The PM’s participation in the first day of the conference was aimed at projecting Pakistan’s economic and investment potential as well as its vision for the next five years.
