ISLAMABAD: Luxembourgian Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn on Thursday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad, ARY News reported.
Matters of mutual interest, Pakistan-Indian tension, economic cooperation, trade, investment and other issues were came under discussion in the meeting.
Taking to the Luxembourgian foreign minister, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan had taken various measures to defuse tension in the region. He underscored the need for dialogues to resolve issues.
On the occasion, the prime minister offered Luxembourg investment opportunities in the fields of information technology, health and power.
Admiring the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government’s good governance, Jean Asselborn said that its measures against corruption were commendable. He offered Pakistan cooperation in the green finance sector.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held meeting with a delegation led by Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn on Thursday, ARY News reported.
FM Qureshi thanked his Luxembourgian counterpart for paying his first visit to Pakistan.
Both leaders also exchanged views on bilateral relations, trade and matters of mutual interests. The foreign ministers of both countries agreed exchange of delegations for enhancing bilateral ties besides cooperation in science, technology and education sectors.
