ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the first lady Begum Kalsoom Nawaz on Sunday celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary, ARY News reported.
The prime minister went to his mother’s house along his wife to celebrate the event, where his younger brother Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif also joined them.
Sharing pictures of this event with her fans and followers on her social media account, daughter of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz prayed for animation of their relationship and many happy returns of the day.
She also quoted a Hadith highlighting importance of kindness in spouses’ relation.
“Nothing in this world is perfect, but the two of you are! Masha’Allah 46 years of togetherness …..,” she wrote.
Wishing happy wedding anniversary to “the best couple”, she also said, “Every love story is beautiful, but yours is my favourite.”
Maryam also declined some media reports about her father’s serious health condition and said: “As opposed to the sensational news on media,PM is Alhamdolillah fine. Diagnosed with small kidney stone that doesn’t need any intervention.”
