KARACHI: The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has decided to move court to review Panama Leaks case, ARY News reported on Thursday.
The ruling party has prepared basic structure of the appeal in which it would challenge the verdict of three-member bench of the Supreme Court (SC) which has disqualified former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, sources said.
They would appeal from the court to exclude Justice Asif Khosa and Justice Gulzar from the five-member bench of Panama case that should review the case.
The basis on which Panama Leaks case verdict was announced are not acceptable, the PML-N has opined. Sources said the party believed that the evidence of drawing salary from UAE company was not true.
PML-N sources said according to the taxation laws salary is only counted if it has been drawn and Nawaz Sharif did not draw the salary.
