PML-N, PTI activists scuffle during polling in Multan

Extra contingent of police and Rangers was called to the site shortly after both entered a scuffle. Polling was also halted for some time.

Activists of Paksitan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz chanted slogans and accused each other for rigging.

Some of the activists were wielding batons, however police stopped them from becoming violent.

Police said the polling had resumed and situation was brought under control after extra contingent of law enforcers was summoned to the site. An officer told that a woman voter misbehaved with a presiding officer that lead to disorder in the polling station.
