Police arrest suspect of Wagah Border attack

According to sources, CIA police have taken a person named ‘Baba’ into their custody for assisting suicide bomber of Wagah Border.

Baba has been arrested for giving asylum to the suicide bomber at his house, said sources.

Earlier, on November 2 evening, a suicide bomber blew him off at Wagah Border when huge number of people were returning to the parking area from the parade avenue, after attending the flag lowering ceremony. The suicide attack killed 55 and left 120 injured.

A banned Islamist group name ‘Jundullah’, closely tied to Al Qaeda and the Taliban, claiming the responsibility of attack said that attack was a reaction of the ongoing military operation Zarb-e-Azb, in turbulent North Waziristan and Khyber regions of the federally administrative tribal areas (FATA).
