MULTAN: Police roughly handled an elderly couple in Multan and released after a brief detention, ARY News reported.
The footage obtained by ARY News shows the old husband and wife crying out of pain after being beaten by police.

The aged woman stated they were detained in police station and police even threatened them with dire consequences.
The elderly man said he was badly beaten by the police and he did not know on whose order police took them into custody.
Commenting on the incident, citizens have called it unfortunate and shocking. They demanded from the government to take action against the culprits.
