The incident occurred near PT-Gate no.15 of Keamari town when a policeman Shahzad brutally beat up truck driver Riaz Hussain along with his associate.
The driver succumbed to his injuries. The deceased belonged to Khushab and was a father of daughter.
The heirs of the driver said cop killed Shahzad just over ‘minor altercation’.
Police said they were investgating the case and tracking the whereabouts of the absconding cop.
