KOHAT ATTACK: At least five policemen including a Station House Officer (SHO) were killed as terrorists opened fire on a police van in Lachi tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kohat district, ARY News reported on Saturday.
The police van was coming back after an operation in Kamal Khel area when terrorists ambushed the vehicle and killed five policemen including SHO Lachi police station Khanullah and Additional SHO Tahir Khan.
The police team retaliated, but the terrorists fled from the scene after the attack. The areas has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway to arrest suspects behind the attack.
