According to the Dubai-based Emarat Al Youm daily, police and medics rushed to the girl’s house in Ghafia after her mother reported that she had used a kitchen knife to slash her veins after taking a large quantity of pain-killers to commit suicide.
The girl was rushed to hospital in a bad condition but doctors managed to save her life.

“The mother told police that her daughter is suffering from psychological problems and that she believes she is controlled by jinn.”
