PPP to become party in commission on electoral rigging

PPP Secretary General, Sherry Rehman told that the PPP has decided to become a party in the judicial commission to probe electoral rigging, lately formed by the government upon the demand of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf.

“Raja Pervez Ashraf will submit a formal application in this regard,” she added.

Ms Rehman said that Peoples Party has finalized the affairs relating to the hearing before the judicial commission.

“Senator Aitzaz Ahsan will head the party’s legal team, while party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has also approved the formation of election reforms committee,” concluded the PPP secretary general.
