Prime Video has officially greenlit a second season of its breakout young adult drama Sterling Point. The swift renewal arrives just over two weeks after the show’s eight-episode first season debuted on August 5, 2026, quickly claiming the No. 1 global spot on the platform and earning critical acclaim.
Created, directed, and executive-produced by Megan Park, the coming-of-age series is co-produced by Fake Empire’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage alongside LuckyChap’s Tom Ackerley and Dani Gorin.
The narrative follows 17-year-old New Yorker Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin), who inherits a secluded Canadian island in Muskoka from her estranged grandfather, uncovering deep-seated family secrets along the way.
Industry veterans Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (The O.C., Gossip Girl) served as co-showrunners alongside creator Megan Park.
Season 1 starred an acclaimed ensemble including Ella Rubin, Amélie Hoeferle, Keen Ruffalo, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Bo Bragason, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
