Prince Andrew’s accuser Virginia Giuffre’s family has broken their silence after he gave up his royal titles in shocking move.
While speaking to People Magazine on Friday, 17, October, Virginia’s brothers and sisters-in-law gave their first statement after Andrew’s bombshell announcement.
“We, the family of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, believe that Prince Andrew’s decision to give up his titles is vindication for our sister and survivors everywhere,” they said in a statement to PEOPLE on Friday, October 17.
The statement further added, “This decisive action is a powerful step forward in our fight to bring Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s child sex-trafficking network to justice.”

“Further, we believe it is appropriate for King Charles to remove the title of Prince,” it added.
Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide earlier this year, first named Andrew in a civil suit against Epstein in 2015 and later she filed a separate lawsuit against the prince over alleged non-consensual sexual encounters in 2021.
While, the father of Princess Beatice and Eugenie debunked the accusations in an interview with the BBC, he stepped down from royal duties in 2019.
Now, on October 17, the disgraced royal announced that he would no longer use his royal titles and honors in a statement released by Buckingham Palace.
Moreover, Virginia Giuffre’ tell all book, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, which she wrote before her death is set to release on Tuesday, October 21.
