Priyanka signs whopping Rs 250m deal with ABC Studios

It is no new to anyone that Bollywood queen Priyanka Chopra is in USA these days to shoot for her as-yet undisclosed show. But the big news is the latest buzz from tinsel town that states that the star actress will be getting 25 crore (Indian rupee) for the show.

Mary Kom star who has signed a one-year talent holding deal with an American channel ABC Studios is in Los Angeles for three months where she has signed a lavish deal of 25 crore with the show. It seems like US is the second home of the 32-year-old actress who will be living there for three months in a luxurious, customized villa provided by the channel for her. According to the sources the place is specially designed for her on her likings and a special place is also being designed for the actress as the temple area where she can pray.

The actress who is among the most highly paid actresses of Bollywood was quoted saying “Women are underpaid everywhere. Even in Hollywood, compared to the men, women are underpaid. Very few women are such who get paid as much. I think we live in a male-dominated world. If you are vying for the same position, women just get paid less.”

So it looks like US is paying her what she wants.
