A-list actor Priyanka Chopra says that she wants to be known by only her first name, just like legends Rekha and Cher.
Chopra has been out and about promoting her forthcoming web series ‘Citadel’ by Russo Brothers for Amazon Prime video and spilt some interesting lesser-known facts about the project as well as her obstacles in both Hollywood and Bollywood industries.

In one of the recent outings, the ‘Quantico’ star was asked about the cons of having a common name like Priyanka and how it works in her favour in the global entertainment industry.
“I take full advantage of the fact that I am the only Priyanka most Americans know. But when I come to India, there are at least six Priyankas in the room,” she joked.

“So over the years, I have got used to being just PC in India. But when I go to America, I am the only one.”
She added, “I don’t even use my last name most often there anymore. I want to now become like Cher! Or Rekha! Just Priyanka! (laughs) I love it.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Chopra is awaiting the release of the Russo Brothers’ web series ‘Citadel’. The first-to-launch season is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.
