Proteas dominate fresh test rankings

AB de Villiers tops the test batting rankings whereas Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara is at second place whereas Proteas captain Hashim Amla is at third place.

Pakistani batsman Misbah-ul-Haq slipped one place to seventh place.

In the bowler’s ratings, South African pacer Dale Steyn tops the rankings followed by Australians Ryan Harris and Mitchell Johnson at second and third place respectively.

Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal stands at fifth position whereas Sri Lankan bowler Rangana Herath moved to eighth place after improving seven spots.

Vernon Philander of South Africa tops the test rankings for all-rounders followed by Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh at second place and India’s Ravichandra Ashwin at third place.

South Africa tops the team rankings with 124 points followed by Australia with 123 and Pakistan with 103 points respectively.
