LAHORE: After offering Fajr prayers led by Imam-e-Kaaba on Monday morning at Jamaa Masjid Mansura here, Jamaat Islami (JI) chief Siraj ul Haq addressing prayer attendants said that protection of Harmain Shareefen (two grand mosques) and Saudi Arabia has been an integral part of faith.
“Defence to Saudi Arabia is to defend the entire Islamic world”, he underlined.
Calling Saudi-Arabia a close friend, he stated that the countries have been like a body with two hearts.
He further said that conspiracies being hatched time to time to divide Muslim Ummah on basis of sects but it’s the due obligation to every Muslim to protect Harmain Shareefen and other holy sites.
“Pakistan was created under an Islamic ideology”, he said, adding, the visit of Imam-e-Kaaba has strengthened the bonds between two Islamic countries.
Yesterday Imam e Kaaba Saleh Muhammad bin Ibrahim had said that Islam is a peaceful religion which obliges its followers to serve humanity. He further said Muslims would protect the holy places.
