Protest is the right of grieving families: Imran

Imran Khan, speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, said that there were parents as well as protesters in the school who did not give me an opportunity to interact with the grieving families during the visit.

The PTI Chairman said that education is a part of religion and they will not let it get affected.

“I salute the children. Their morale is high and the nation is brave”, Khan said.

“I  want to give a message that our children are not scared of terrorism. I salute those children”, he added.

He said that he was disappointed that he could not visit the school on the day of its reopening.

Khan stated that protest is a right of those parents who lost their loved ones in the grave tragedy and it is a tough time for them.

PTI Chief, while commenting on the vote recount in NA-122 constituency, said that the seals of 128 vote bags were broken whereas 34,000 votes were declared fake in the inquiry report by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

“Ayaz Sadiq won such an election which does not have any validity”, he added.

“The fraud is being exposed in the constituencies that are being audited by the commission”, he added. He said that parties are complaining about rigging in the elections but no one is talking about a commission to investigate it.

Imran Khan stated that rigging is a stain on democracy whereas free and fair elections are necessary for the constitution. The Local Body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have been delayed due to Punjab and Sindh provinces , Khan said.

The PTI Chairman announced that his party will announce a new strategy in the “Dharna Convention” on 18th January.
