PSX continues downward trend, drops 501 points

KARACHI: On the third day of the business week, the KSE-100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday witnessed negative market trend loss 501 points, a negative change of 1.23%, closing at 41,376.10 points, ARY News reported.

A total of 67,397,756 shares were traded during the day, whereas the price of shares stood at Rs 3.075 billion.

As many as 337 companies transacted their shares in the stock market; 75 of them recorded gains and 234 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 28 companies remained unchanged.
