GUJRANWALA: A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member and Union Councillor was killed while five others were injured as political workers belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and PTI clashed in Gujranwala city of Punjab province, ARY News reported on Friday.
According to ARY News correspondent, the incident occured in Faisal Town area of the city where a newly inducted PTI worker and Union Councillor was killed during a clash with PML-N workers.
Sources say the clash started after a heated debate between the two parties’ workers over the deceased’s decision to leave PML-N and PTI during which the PML-N workers opened fire.
The PTI member was killed while five others were injured during the clash.
