Qadri refuses to leave airplane without military security

LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Allama Tahirul Qadri has refused to come out of the airplane after his Islamabad bound flight diverted and landed at Lahore airport, ARY News reported on Monday.

Allama Qadri refused to leave the flight after the flight of Emirates airlines landed at Lahore airport. He demanded the military security for him and said that he has no trust over the civil authorities.

He called Sharif brothers the biggest security risk for the country. He also demanded returning the flight back to Islamabad.

The Emirates flight scheduled to land at Islamabad was denied landing by the airport authorities this morning. The flight was hovering over the airport for around 40 minutes and later instruted to move to Lahore.

Muslim League (Q) leader Chaudhry Shujaat and a delegation of MQM leaders were present at Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport to receive Dr. Tahirul Qadri who has been arrived in Pakistan from Canada to lead a movement of the opposition parties against the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Ahead of the flight carrying PAT leader security heightened at Allama Iqbal International Airport of Lahore.
