Qatar shows interest to hire more workers from Pakistan- FIFA World Cup 2022

ISLAMABAD: Qatari Ambassador Saqr bin Mubarak Al-Mansour shows enthusiasm and stated that Qatar has planned to appoint additional workers from Pakistan for construction & infrastructure related avenues ahead of the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

Recently, after the inauguration of first Qatar visa centre in Islamabad, the ambassador highlighted that Qatar is determined to augment the number of Pakistani workers in the Gulf country by employing experts and semi-professional workers, who can support the enduring infrastructure projects.

He also added that Qatar had decided to comprise Pakistan in the first eight countries, due to which two Qatar visa centres are launched in Pakistan.

It is observed that in Pakistan, the visa centres will be opened in Islamabad and Karachi.

Qatari Ambassador explained that the main purpose of opening these visa centres is to facilitate people for smooth recruitment process of skilled labor from Pakistan. Moreover, it will assist in visit visa services as well as residence visa in the Arab country.

However, these centres will be responsible for immediate conclusion of special process for the issuance of visas and residence sanctions in Qatar.

The Qatari Ambassador briefed about Qatar as it providing one of the best surroundings to its foreign employees for a better lifestyle. The United Nations agency, the International Labour Organisation (ILO), has documented the amenities presented by Qatar to foreign workers all around the globe.

Furthermore, it will be necessary for the candidates to complete the work visa process which includes signing of work contract, get their bio metric data registered and undertake medical test at the visa centre. These centres operates on the basis of an integrated electronic system to record all data.
