Kids of the 90s have their own fond memories with the remarkable soaps and sitcoms of that era. And if you happen to grow up during the same yesteryear, you must have remembered ‘Son Pari’…did you?

And do you actually remember the actress who played Son Pari? The glamorous character was played by Mrinal Dev-Kulkarni, who is an Indian actress and director, also known for her TV show like ‘Shrikant’, ‘Rishtey’, ‘Khamoshiyan’ and many more.

At the age of 16, she made her debut in a Marathi TV serial and gained popularity in the industry.

Beside acting in the Indian TV serials, she has also acted in many Marathi as well as Bollywood films like ‘Rajwade and Sons’ (Marathi), ‘Rama Madhav’ (Marathi), ‘Ram Gopal Varma Ke Aag’ (Bollywood), and ‘A Rainy Day’ (Bollywood).

Mrinal has got a Master’s degree in Linguistics from Pune University and has directed a couple of films like ‘Rama Madhav’ and ‘Prem Mhanje Prem Mhanje Prem Asta’.

And the 45 year-old actress was also rewarded with a National Award for the movie, ‘Thang The Quest’ that was directed by Amol Palekar.
