According to details, unknown dacoits intercepted an armored delivery van in Lahore’s Rang Mahal area, while it was en route to transfer cash to a bank branch.
The guards with the cash van tried to resist the robber, who were wounded after the muggers fired at them.
The robbers looted Rs 9 million from the van and walked away with ease.
Police reached the spot and obtained CCTV footage of the vicinity. Officials told that teams have been dispatched for the arrest of culprits and they will soon land behind the bars.
