According to details, the roof of a house located near Old Ravi Bridge collapsed Friday night leaving six persons sleeping in the house, injured.
The injured persons were identified as three-year old Alisha, eight-year old Zeenat, 22-year Asiya, 49-year old Zainab, 35-year old Umar and 30-year old Asif.
Initially the residents of the area retrieved the wounded persons trapped under the rubble. Rescue 1122 team arrived at the scene soon and shifted the injured to Mayo Hospital for treatment.
It is being said that the roof collapsed due to rainfall on Friday that weakened the building structure.
