ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday announced special compensation worth one million rupee for the family of an official deputed on census duty who died in a fatal accident in village Neen Ban, Mansehra Distt last week.
Abdul Qadir, a Primary School Teacher, who hailed from village Khun Shakoora in distt Mansehra, was on census duty when the accident took place. He is survived by a widow, four sons, two daughters and aging parents.
Dar expressed deep sense of grief over the tragic death of Abdul Qadir and sympathized with the bereaved family, praying to Allah Almighty for granting them fortitude to bear this loss with equanimity.

This should be noted that house listing has already been completed under the first phase of 6th census across Pakistan. While, head-count began on Saturday in 63 districts countrywide.
These include 16 districts in Punjab, eight in Sindh, 14 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 in Balochistan and five each in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
The exercise will continue for ten days. Counting of homeless people will begin on 28th of this month.
