The film created a huge buzz among the fans after initial poster and teaser showed Salman pile up weight to play and role and a Haryana accent.
The films also stars Anushka Sharma and centers around a wrestler Sultan Ali Khan who has problems with his personal and professional life but achieve global fame at various championships such as 2010 Commonwealth Games New Delhi and 2012 London Olympics.
The filmed is produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It is scheduled to release on Eid-ul-Fitr.
