Sanam Chaudhry plays the young eloper in Khata

Sanam Chaudhry is skilfully playing the character of a youth (Rabeea) who despite resisting the advances of a boy next door Roomi (played by Shehroz Sabzwari) had to accidentally elope with him.

What follows is a painful journey of trials and tribulations. Her marriage to the boy, her father disowning her then bearing the attitude of mother-in-law and sister-in-law, whose marriage was broken due to the eloping accident.

 Viewers are praising the way she emotes as a young girl who is more interested in her mother than her husband, cries like a kid and does not know a single thing about domestic treachery.
