ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Asad Umar on Monday stressed the need for India to listen to the people of held Kashmir saying that the more it would try and suppress the Kashmiri people through violence the more determined they would become.
In a statement on social media website Twitter, he said: “India needs to listen to the people of kashmir.”
“It must realize that the more they try and repress the people of kashmir through violence the more determined kashmiri’s become to break free from the subjugation by India.”
In an apparent reference to allegations of India linking the Pulwama attack with Pakistan, the finance minister said, “No amount of scapegoating Pakistan will change that reality.”
