KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested the senior officer of Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) allegedly involved in the threatening crime via email, ARY News reported on Saturday.
FIA sources revealed that the arrested senior ticketing officer Tariq Mehmood Khan was engaged in cyber-crime.
The high profiled officials including acting chairman and the managing director of PIA were receiving threatening emails from an official PIA email address, which Khan had access to.
Khan accused them of corruption and for not observing the merit in the hiring process.
Investigation against Tariq Mehmood Khan has been started under cyber crime act.
