Shahid Kapoor's wife gets a 'Shandaar' birthday gift

If you think the Bollywood superstar gifted his wife with costly diamonds or any other sort of lavish gifts, you’re wrong. For her birthday on September 7, Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput got a Shandaar gift- literally!

Mira Rajput, who recently wed Shahid Kapoor two months ago in July, got to see Shahid Kapoor’s latest, unreleased flick titled Shandaar which also stars Alia Bhatt. It is a special gift, since the Bollywood actor who plays the lead character in the film, hasn’t even seen the film himself! Speaking at a promotional event, this is what Shahid revealed about Mira:-

“Vikas presented her a birthday gift, which was to show her ‘Shaandaar’. She came and she watched ‘Shaandaar’. Even I haven’t watched the film till now and Vikas has showed it only to Mira.”

Shahid Kapoor was speaking to the media at a meet with the press in which he and Alia were promoting their latest song for the movie Gulabo. Gulabo is a one-of-a-kind bachelorette bash song in which Ali Bhatt throws the bash for another girl. In the movie, Shahid Kapoor’s sister Sanah will also be making her Bollywood debut and also features in Gulabo.

During the press event also, Alia Bhatt kept interrupting questions from reporters and the media people, when they asked about Shahid Kapoor’s marriage or his wife Mira Rajput.

She said: “I have said this time and again my friends, no wedding questions. I’m standing here, there won’t be any questions.

“Even if you ask me about my marriage, I won’t be answering them.”

Shandaar is produced by Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions and is set to hit the theatres on October 22.
