Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy made history in 2012 by being the first Pakistani to ever win an Academy Award. This time around Sharemen was nominated for an Oscar award and her documentary A Girl In The River: The Price Of Forgiveness earned her yet another Oscar win. Hence, this puts Sharmeen ahead of Leonardo DiCaprio as far as the Oscar tally is concerned, who earned his very first Oscar award for the movie The Revenant the same night!
