SHC informed about return of two missing persons

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) was informed on Tuesday about return of two missing persons during hearing of more than 10 petitions about disappearances.

Police submitted its report in the high court about return of two missing persons Altaf Hussain and Muhammad Ismail.

“Altaf Hussain was missing from Pak Colony and Muhammad Ismail reported missing from Gadap,” police said in its report.

The high court bench summoned progress report about other missing persons from the police and other concerned officials and adjourned further hearing of the case until April 23.

In a previous hearing the court was informed about whereabouts of four missing persons.

“Ghulam Abbas has returned back to home, while Ghulam Haider has been arrested in Khairpur,” police report said.

“Two persons reported missing, Ghulam Sarwar and Maqbool, have been arrested by Shara-e-Faisal police,” according to the report.

The high court bench summoned progress report about other missing persons from police and adjourned further hearing of the case until April 15.
