KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Sunday directed the authorities concerned to speed up construction work on two underpasses on Shaheed-e-Millat Road, ARY News reported.
Accompanied by Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani and Adviser to Sindh CM on Information & Archives, Law and Anti-Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the chief minister visited the construction site to review work on the underpasses.
During a briefing, Murad was informed that the cost of both the schemes had been estimated at Rs850 million.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said commuters had to face traffic congestion owing to the incomplete structures and directed traffic police to manage traffic flow properly.
He directed the authorities to speed up work on the underpasses in order to complete them as soon as possible.
