Skeleton of 'alien boy' recovered from ancient grave

KERCH, Russia: An “alien boy” with a weirdly stretched skull found in a tomb in Crimea was a novice ancient warrior, said Russian archaeologists.

The artificially elongated head is a sign that the child was being groomed as Sarmatian fighter around 2,000 years ago, they said.

One of the most characteristic traits of the Sarmatian culture was the artificial deformation of skulls which they achieved by tying a soft cloth around a baby’s head and special wooden planks were bound to the skull forcing an elongation of the cranium.

The skull deformations were perceived as making the warriors more aggressive.

The existence of extraterrestrial life has long been talk of the town and people claim to have found their signs too, but nobody could yet present a believable proof.

The grave of the warrior, whom archaeologists called an alien’s grave, was found at a burial site close to a bridge currently under construction.

The boy warrior from the second century AD is believed to be around two years.

One Russian state media house reported that some adherents of “ancient astronauts” theories claim that the owners of such elongated skulls may be human-extraterrestrial hybrids’.

Nikolay Sudarev, a scientist from the Archaeology Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences, denied the grave was linked to alien civilisations.

“Elongated skulls were traditional for the Sarmatian culture,” he said, according to Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper.

“They thought this was more beautiful.”
