MUMBAI: It’s not been so long when one of the popular Indian TV dramas Son Pari was a screen fodder for children. The TV show was a hit in 2000.

Children of the yesteryears have fond memories attached to that era. If you’ve ever watched this drama, you must remembered popular TV actress Mrunal Dev Kulkari who played Son Pari on TV had won our hearts and made us sort of believe in fairy tales (especially in the Indian context)!

One of the central characters, Frooti the child protagonist (Tanvi Hegde) was perhaps the most popular among kids and she virtually became a brand name at one point! She had a fairy godmother of sorts that was Son Pari and she could call on to her anytime!

The show ended in 2004 and it’s still remembered as one of the finest kids TV shows.

Well after the show ended Tavni acted in a few films as a child actor like Wah! Life Ho Toh Aiesi and Viruddh!

After the drama, she disappeared from showbiz for a while. But recently she reappeared in a Marathi film,Dhurandhar Bhatawdekar in 2015. Once a child actor she has now grown up into a beautiful young actress!
