Police officer who missed Imran Khan’s court attendance file dismissed

ISLAMABAD: The Superintendent of Police (SP) Muhammad Sami Malik was dismissed for missing the PTI chairman and former PM Imran Khan’s court attendance file, ARY News reported on Monday.

As per details, the establishment division issued the notification that the SP Sami Malik services were given to the Balochistan government.

The court attendance file went missing after the PTI chairman and former prime minister Imran khan marked attendance outside the court in toshakhana case.

Earlier, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) suspended Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s non-bailable arrest warrants in the Toshakhana case.

IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq had suspended former premier Imran Khan’s arrest warrants and barred police from arresting him till March 18.

IHC CJ, while passing the orders, had instructed the sessions court and Islamabad police to provide adequate security to Imran Khan.
