Spy agency officer shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI: Armed men on Tuesday shot dead an intelligence officer in the Korangi area of the city, ARY News reported.
The man identified as Zahid Farooq was shot near Korangi Crossing. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of the Ibrahim Haideri police station. Police said that it initially looks like a mugging attempt, but further investigation are still underway.
