Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday were to debut in 'My Name is Khan'

Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and actor Ananya Panday were to star as child actors in My Name is Khan in 2010 but the scene they shot for didn’t make it to the final cut.

Ananya made her Bollywood debut with college drama Student of the Year 2 recently for which she received a lot of praise. She co-starred with Tiger Shroff and fellow debutant Tara Sutaria in the film. Her first acting stint, however, was for Karan Johar’s directorial My Name is Khan, she revealed in an interview with PinkVilla.

She said that, “Actually, Suhana (Khan) and I were both on the sets of My Name Is Khan and there was this scene where the team needed a crowd. Karan [Johar] asked both of us to stand in the crowd and walk. We felt it was our moment and I believe we overacted there, too.” She added that the scene wasn’t there when the movie was released though.

Interestingly, Ananya, Suhana and Shanaya Kapoor are best friends.

Ananya has already signed up for another film Pati Patni Aur Woh where she will be seen alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar.

Meanwhile, Suhana Khan made her magazine cover debut for Vogue India in 2018. She is said to be interested in acting.
