Sunny Leone bags role in Akshay Kumar's next 'Singh is Bling'

The former porn star will make a cameo appearance in the Akshay Kumar film Singh is Bling. Ever since making her debut in the Bollywood movie Jism 2 in 2012, Sunny hasn’t had the opportunity to work with an A-list actor in Bollywood. However, she has bagged a cameo in a movie with Akshay Kumar, who happens to be the hottest actor in Bollywood at the moment!

“Sunny Leone will be doing a cameo in Singh Is Bliing. We cannot reveal what that cameo is about,” a source said. When contacted via phone by an Indian website, Sunny Leone’s husband Daniel Weber refrained from making a comment and neither confirmed nor denied the reports.  “No comments… they (makers) would be the right people to talk about it (cameo in the film),” he said before hanging up.

Singh is Bling will star Bollywood actresses Kriti Sanon, Amy Jackson and Kareena Kapoor. Regarding the film, this is what Akshay had earlier said about it,”It’s the perfect amalgamation of action, comedy & romance.”

Singh is Bling features three Bollywood actresses, besides Sunny Leone (who will make a cameo appearance) and Prabhudeva, the director of the movie, elaborated what can be expected from actresses in his movies.

“The heroines in my film always have their own space in the plot. Was Sonakshi Sinha in Rowdy Rathore or R… Rajkumar just a decorative doll? No way! My films may be titled after the hero, but the heroine has no reason to complain.”

Best of luck for Sunny Leone! Though a cameo appearance still cannot be compared to a central role in a film, Sunny is getting there it seems! The former adult film star cum Bollywood actress has faced stiff opposition from Bollywood actresses such as Rakhi Sawant and Celina Jaitley. Sunny had also stated in the past that leading Bollywood actors were hesitant on working with her due to her controversial past as an adult film actress.
