CTD produced suspected operative of Islamic State ( also known with Arabic acronym Daesh) Abu Bakar alias Ali in the anti-terrorism court in Gujranwala.
The court accepted the department’s plea of the suspect’s remand and handed him over on remand of seven days.
According to CTD sources, the suspected Daesh activist was nabbed from Sialkot’s Akbarabad Chowk area and a laptop along with provocative content were seized from him.
He was a facilitator of terrorists, a CTD source said.
