It was emotional, hardcore, and breathtaking as The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz turned back the clock for the one final time at the TNA Bound For Glory on Sunday night.
The last chapter of their storied career of the two iconic tag teams of all time came to an end with in the one final table match for the TNA and NXT Tag Team Championships.
Matt Hardy got caught with an early 3D from Bully Ray and D-Von. Moments later, D-Von showed Jeff what’s up with a top rope headbutt. Jeff was sent through a table with the 3D.
D-Von inadvertently struck his own partner. Matt tried to put Bully through a table, but it backfired and Matt went through instead.
Jeff soared off the top of a ladder with a Swanton Bomb, putting D-Von through multiple tables.
Bully almost powerbombed Jeff through a table, but Matt pulled it away. Jeff hits another Swanton Bomb, this time on Bully.
Accepting defeat, Bully allowed The Hardys to put him through a table. The Hardys scored the victory and remain both the TNA and NXT Tag Team Champions.
Carlos Silva presented the belts to the Hardys. The Hardys helped Bully to his feet. Fans chanted “Thank you!” Devon climbed back in the ring.
They all hugged. Fans chanted “Thank you, Dudleys!” The Hardys went to leave the ring, but the Dudleys stopped them. The Dudleys unlaced their boots, took them off, and gave them to the Hardys. The teams hugged and raised each other’s hands.
