The trailer is dark and captures the intensity of Bruce Wayne aka Batman’s character. The social media users are claiming that the movie is capturing the essence of the comic books as well.
The cinematography, especially the upside-down shot of the Batman approaching towards the camera, and the background music are being praised as well.
Here’s how social media reacted to the first look trailer.
I’m sold. Visually much more striking and just to how dark Batman should be (and a step up from the Nolan trilogy). Music seems very fitting too. Could have skipped the cheesy ”I’m vengeance” line though.

However, there were some social media users who stated that another Batman movie should not have been made.
The movie trailer shows many several villains in the mix such as Penguin and The Riddler. The Catwoman, who was previously shown in the Dark Knight Rises, is also featured in the movie as well.
The project is directed by Matt Reeves, who was known for his work in the found-footage horror Cloverfield.
